When moving your entire household to another country, organization and scheduling makes everyone’s jobs much easier.

Here is a 10 step guide to what you should do:

Make a list of what you want to take with you.
Make arrangements to dispose of furniture you no longer need, this can be cumbersome.
Give yourself enough time, a move is a complicated thing to plan. Give Hermes as much time as you can; at least 2 weeks’ time is necessary for a stress free moving experience.

Plan ahead for delays and difficulties. In a move there are a lot of moving parts, anything as simple as an unexpected storm can throw a wrench even in even the best laid plans. Try to give yourself multiple days when a load can happen to avoid stressful situations. Start your packing early, start with the items you will not need in the next few months/weeks.
