So you are returning back to Italy, or maybe you are moving there for the first time looking for adventure and opportunity. Well great, let us handle the stressful parts. Customs Regulations:

  • If you own your goods for at least 18 months, and you are not planning to resell them within six months of you visiting Italy then there is a good chance you have no duty to pay.
  • Your presence is not required if all documents are in order


Documents Required:

  • Passport Copy.
  • Visa/Work Permit if any.
  • “Permesso a Soggiorno” by Police Office foreign department if needed.
  • Inventory in Italian signed by the client and approved by the Italian
  • Embassy/consulate.
  • Social Security # or Tax ID #.


Prohibited items:

  • Narcotics and Drugs
  • Animal Skins
  • Plants
  • Alcohol
  • Firearms/Explosives/Ammunitions
  • Pornographic Material
  • Combat Knives
  • Perfumes
